Trivia

    Album

  • This movie was a tribute to the legendary singer K.L. Saigal who died in 1947. It told his life story and used footage from his films and recordings of his songs. The film opened with his son Madan Mohan Saigal lighting a lamp in front of his garlanded portrait. Madan Mohan Saigal then turns around to thank two seated men for making the film. These men were possibly the film's director Nitin Bose and producer B.N. Sircar. The film featured versions of K.L. Saigal's non-film song "Kaun Bujhave Ram Tapas More Man Ki" sung by female singers, possibly Bansari Lahiri and Pratima Bose who were listed in the opening credits as Playback Voices.[MR1]
