    Album

  • The film was a spiritual successor to the sleeper hit "Hindi Medium" (2017). Irrfan Khan played the lead role in both the films.[1]
  • This was Irrfan Khan's last film. The actor, who had been battling against a neuroendocrine tumour since 2018, died on April 29 2020, a little over a month after the film's release. He had signed Vishal Bhardwaj's "Sapna Didi" but it was "rescheduled" in 2018 after he made the announcement about his condition. It appears that he never resumed work on it.[2]
  • The film was released in theatres on March 13 2020. Its run was cut short by a nationwide lockdown imposed as a result of an outbreak of the COVID pandemic. Consequently, it was released on the streaming platform Hotstar on April 6.[3]

  • Ek Zindagi Meri Sau Khwahishan - This was a reprised version of a song Sachin - Jigar had originally recorded for the film "Hindi Medium" (2017). The original song was also sung by Tanishka Sanghvi, music director Sachin Sanghvi's daughter.[4]
  • Naachan Nu Jee Karda (Ki Kariye Nachna Aunda Nahin) - This was the recreated version of a Bhangra-pop song originally recorded in 2000 by the UK-based band Tigerstyle. The song was not used in the film but a promotional music video featuring Radhika Madan was shot for it. The same Tigerstyle song had been recreated previously for the film "Tum Bin 2" (2016).[5]
  • Kudi Nu Nachne De - The song was used in the film's end credits. A promotional music video was shot for it featuring Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, and Radhika Madan.
  • Teri Laadki Main - This was a reprised version of a song Sachin - Jigar had composed for Coke Studio Season 4 in 2015. The original song was sung by Taniskha Sanghvi, Kirtidan Gadhvi, and Rekha Bhardwaj.[6]
