Trivia

    Album

  • Salil Chowdhury had used the theme music for the opening credits of this film earlier for the opening credits of "Anokhi Raat" (1968).[1]

    Song

  • Raaton Ke Saaye Ghane - Salil Chowdhury used the tune of this song again for the Malayalam film song "Nee Varu Kaavyadevathe" ("Swapnam", 1973), sung by Yesudas.[2]
  • Guzar Jaye Din Din Din - Kishore Kumar had to practise a lot before he got this song right. He was so much in awe of this complex composition that he is said to have sat on the floor to learn the song.[MR6]
  • Nis Din Nis Din - Salil Chowdhury reused the tune of his Bengali non-film song "Nishidin Nishidin" (1967) - also sung by Lata Mangeshkar - for this song. He used the tune again for the Malayalam film song "Mazhavilkodi Kavidi" ("Swapnam", 1973), sung by S. Janaki.[3][4]
