  • This film was remade in various other languages - in Telugu as "Anuragalu" (1975), in Malayalam as "Raagam" (1975), in Kannada as "Chiranjeevi" (1976), and in Tamil as "Neela Malargal" (1979).

    Song

  • Neend Churaye Chain Churaye - S.D. Burman had used the tune of this song earlier for the song "Banshi Sune Aar Kaaj Naay". The original version, which he sang himself, was recorded in 1957 for Guru Dutt's shelved Bengali film "Gouri". Burman had recorded another song for "Gouri" in Geeta Dutt's voice - "Jani Bhromara Kaino". He had reused the tune of this song previously for the Hindi film song "Jaani Tum To Dole Daga Dai Ke" ("Dr. Vidya", 1962).[4][5][6]
