The film was originally titled "Ascharya F#*k It". It appears that the filmmakers changed its title and decided to release it on Netflix without any cuts when the CBFC ordered many changes and cuts in it.[1]
The film was inspired by the writings of Saadat Hasan Manto. The inspiration was acknowledged before the opening credits.
The film's background score featured Hindi film songs published by Saregama. A significant portion of R.D. Burman's hit song "Duniya Mein Logon Ko Dhokha Kabhi Ho Jata Hai" ("Apna Desh", 1972) was used in the end credits.[2]
Song
Baango Baango Baango - This was a recreated version of a song from the film "Qaidi" (1984). The original song was composed by Bappi Lahiri, written by Indeevar, and sung by Asha Bhosle. The recreated song was used in the film but it appears that its audio recording was not published.[3]
