Trivia

    Album

  • This was the directorial debut of writer Atul Sabharwal.
  • Salma Agha's daughter Zara Khan made her singing and acting debut in this film. Her role in the film was muted in the film's promotions and she was credited as Sasheh Agha. It was reported that Zara had adopted this screen name to disassociate herself from the controversy she had become embroiled in since 2011. Zara had been dating Ruslaan Mumtaz in 2010-2011. When a video showing her being intimate with Ruslaan appeared on the internet, she accused Ruslaan of leaking it and broke up with him. After her debut in this film, there were media reports that Zara had wanted to make a fresh start and had consulted a numerologist to come up with her screen name Sasheh. She reverted to her real name in 2020.[1]
  • This was the only film in which Sikandar Kher used the last name of his biological father, Gautam Berry. This was possibly as a mark of respect for him after his death, a few months before the film's release. The film also featured Sikandar's adoptive father Anupam Kher but they did not share any scene.
  • This was the debut Hindi film of lyricist Puneet Sharma.

    Song

  • Aurangzeb - The film's music release credited only Marianne D'Cruz Aiman for this song's vocals. However, this is a choral song with vocal arrangements done by her. The other voices in the choir were listed in the film's end credits. The song also featured the voice of composer Vipin Mishra but he was not credited for it.
