Trivia

    Album

  • The film borrowed elements from two other films without credit - the Telugu film "Varsham" (2004) and the Indonesian action film "The Raid" (2011). Director Sabbir Khan refused to acknowledge that the film was a remake of "Varsham" (2004). He claimed that the film's idea came to him after he watched the Telugu film on the insistence of producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who owned its rights.[1]
  • The success of the film spawned sequels in 2018 and 2020. All three films featured Tiger Shroff in the lead role. While this film was directed by Sabbir Khan, the sequels were directed by Ahmed Khan.[2][3]
  • This was the debut Hindi film of the Telugu film actor Sudheer Babu Posani.
  • Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment asserted that they owned the rights to the Indonesian film "The Raid" (2011) and filed an injunction against the makers of this film. The producers of the Indonesian films were also part of this lawsuit. It was later reported that the Bombay High Court had ruled in favour of the makers of this film.[4][5]

    Song

  • Get Ready To Fight - This song was part of the film's score but was not included in its music album. It was released separately as a single. Versions of this song were recorded for the film's sequels.[6][7]
