Trivia

    Album

  • This was the third film in a series of films featuring Tiger Shroff in the lead role. While the first film was directed by Sabbir Khan, the sequels were directed by Ahmed Khan. Shraddha Kapoor, who played the female lead in the first film, rejoined the franchise in this film.[1][2]
  • The film was based on the Tamil film "Vettai" (2012) written and directed by N. Lingusamy. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala wrote its story adaptation.
  • Jackie Shroff made a cameo appearance in the film as the father of the character played by his real-life son Tiger. This was the first film in which they worked together and shared a scene.
  • The film came under criticism for a line delivered by Tiger Shroff in which he threatens to wipe off Syria from the world's map.[3]
  • The film's run in theatres was cut short by a nationwide lockdown imposed after the outbreak of the COVID pandemic. There were reports about the possibility of re-releasing the film after the lockdown. It was eventually released on the Hotstar streaming platform on May 1 2020, less than 2 months after its theatrical release.[4]

    Song

  • Dus Bahane 2.0 - This was Vishal - Shekhar's remixed version of their own song from the film "Dus" (2005).[5]
  • Bhankas (Ek Aankh Maaroon To) - This was a recreated version of a song from the film "Tohfa" (1984). The original song was composed by Bappi Lahiri, written by Indeevar, and sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle. The recreated version sampled a word rendered by Asha Bhosle in the original song. It also featured a few lines sung by Bappi Lahiri, the original composer.[6]
  • Do You Love Me - This was a recreated version of a song recorded by the Lebanese artist Rene Bendali in the 1970s.
  • Do You Love Me - Disha Patani made a cameo appearance in the film for this song. She had played the female lead in the second film of this franchise.
  • Get Ready To Fight - Reloaded - This was a version of a song originally recorded for the first film of the franchise. Another version of the song was recorded for the first sequel as well.[7][8]
  • Tujhe Rab Mana - The song featured a line "Tere jaisa yaar kahan" from a popular song from the film "Yaarana" (1981).[9]
