Trivia

    Album

  • Pramod Chakravorty directed another film with the same title in 1998.[1]
  • This was actress Shoma Anand's debut Hindi film.
  • The plot of this film was adapted from the English film "Summertime Killer" (1972).
  • Several actors, including Dharmendra and Hema Malini, appeared in this film in uncredited cameos.
  • This film flopped in India but was a big hit in Russia.
  • Although Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh had worked together before, it was around the time of this film's making that they fell in love. According to Yash Chopra, who directed them in "Kabhi Kabhie" (1976), Rishi Kapoor had travelled to Paris to shoot for this film at the time and had begun missing Neetu Singh so much that he would constantly send her messages via telegram.[2][3]
