Trivia

    Album

  • The title of this film was a riff on one of Kishore Kumar's most popular films as an actor - "Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi" (1958).[1]
  • This film marked the Hindi film debut of Bappi Lahiri as an actor. He sang a song for it and appeared on the screen singing it. He had debuted as a music director earlier for the film "Nannha Shikari" (1973) and as a singer for the film "Charitra" (1973).[2][3]

    Song

  • Sun Chaache Bol Bhatije - This was the first Hindi film song that father and son, Kishore Kumar and Amit Kumar, sang together.
  • Ho Gori Maan Zara Maan Zara (He Gori Baanki Chhori) - Kishore Kumar was a very good mimic and was particularly good at doing impressions of actor K.N. Singh. He brought his mimicry skills and comic timing to bear in this unusual song sung and composed by him and filmed on K.N. Singh.
