Trivia

    Album

  • This film, written and produced by O.P. Ralhan, was adapted from a film he had directed and written the screenplay for more than a decade ago - "Mujrim" (1958). The original film featured Shammi Kapoor and its story was written by Rajinder Rajan.[1]
  • Mumtaz, who got top billing in this film, was a big star at the time and used to come to the sets of this film a Mercedes. One day, when she found out that Amitabh, who was still a struggling actor, had expressed a desire to drive a Mercedes, she left the set in his car and left her Mercedes behind for him.

    Song

  • Dekho Yeh Mere Bandhe Hath (Kya Jaano Main Hoon Kaun) - R.D. Burman had used the tune of this song earlier for the Bengali film song "Tobu Bole Keno Sahasai" ("Rajkumari", 1970). The original song was also sung by Kishore Kumar.[2]
