Trivia

    Album

  • This was the first time Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji came together as a film's leading pair.
  • A few photographers accused some of the cast and crew of this film of physically assaulting them during its shooting. The police made a few arrests after they lodged a formal complaint.[1]
  • This was Goldie Behl's first film as writer, director and lyricist.
  • The friendship of Abhishek Bachchan and director Goldie Behl began during the shooting of the film "Pukar" (1983) when they were about 7 years old. Their fathers, Amitabh Bachchan and producer, director Ramesh Behl, had banned them from the sets of the film after they had broken a prop. They had vowed then that they would make a film together and ban their parents from its set! As it turned out, the two friends did work together in two films - this film and "Drona" (2008).[2][3][4]
