    Album

  • This was Kamal Sadanah and Kajol's first Hindi film.
  • Saif Ali Khan had originally been selected for the lead role in this film. This would have been his debut film, but director Rahul Rawail dropped him and brought Kamal Sadanah in his place at the last minute.[1]
  • Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh met on the sets of this film and got married soon after, in 1991. They eventually got divorced in 2004.[2]
  • Kajol's real-life mother, Tanuja, played her mother in this film as well.

  • Mujhe Kya Pata Tera Ghar - This song was adapted from the Pakistani film song "Nahin Kuch Pata" ("Basera", 1984), composed by M. Ashraf and sung by Naheed Akhtar.
