• The film was a long time in the making. It was launched in 2009 with Deepak Tijori at the helm and Muzzamil Ibrahim in the lead role. In 2012, Tijori quit due to creative differences with Vikram Bhatt and was replaced by Prashant Chadha. Still later, Chadha was replaced by Shivamm Nair, and Kunal Khemu was brought on board for the lead role.[1][2][3]
• The film's opening and end credits did not list any writing credits. However, its promotional material as well as the news reports covering the film credited Vikram Bhatt for its screenplay and dialogues. Bhatt also had an acting role in the film.

• Daddy Mummy - Devi Sri Prasad had used the tune of this song earlier for the Telugu film song "Aakalesthe" ("Shankar Dada Zindabad", 2007).[4]
• Daddy Mummy - Actress Urvashi Rautela made a cameo appearance in the film for this song.
• Iss Qadar Pyar Hai - This song was Arko's recreation of a song originally composed by Sajid - Wajid for the album "Deewana" (1999). The original song was sung by Sonu Nigam and had lyrics by Faaiz Anwar.[5]
• O Aankhon Aankhon Ne Phansa Liya - Actress Deana Uppal made a cameo appearance in the film for this song.
