Trivia

    Album

  • The film was certified in 1959 but it appears that its music records were issued in 1957 under the title "Black Mailer".[MR1]

    Song

  • Saare Jahaan Se Achha Hindostan Humara - N. Dutta recorded a version of this song for the film "Dharmputra" (1961). While this song was an Asha Bhosle solo, the 1961 song was a duet sung by her and Mohammed Rafi. This song used a Mohammed Iqbal couplet for its mukhda but the antaras were written by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan. The lyrics of the song in "Dharmputra" (1961), however, were entirely from Iqbal's "Tarana-E-Hindi".[1]
