• The film was a long time in the making. It was announced in 2013 with Imran Khan in the lead role. In 2014, it was announced that Imran had been replaced by Siddharth Malhotra. Director Vikramaditya Motwane revealed later that he had to replace Imran since nobody was willing to invest in the film with him in the lead role. The film's shooting started only in 2017 with Harshvardhan Kapoor in the lead role. The film's script also went through several changes. Motwane had written its first draft in 2010 when people's anger against the Congress government's corruption was at its peak. By the time he got around to making the film, India's political landscape had changed and he had to make changes to reflect them. The film's title also underwent a minor change - the "Superhero" suffix was added during the film's making.[1][2][3][4]

• Hum Hain Insaaf - This was rapper Naezy's debut Hindi film song as a lyricist.
• Tere Chumme Mein Chavanprash Hai - Arjun Kapoor, Shibani Dandekar, and Anusha Dandekar appeared in a promotional music video of this song. Kapoor's cousin Harshvardhan played a lead role in the film. A separate song sequence featuring Sharib Hashmi was shot for the film.
