    Album

  • This was cinematographer Praveen Bhatt's first Hindi film as a director. While his career as a director didn't quite take off, his son, Vikram Bhatt, went on to become a very successful film director and producer.
  • This was Shabana Azmi's second film after "Masoom" (1983) for the Krsna Films Unit banner. She got Filmfare Award nominations for both the films and won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for this film.[1]

    Song

  • Dekho Din Yeh Naa Dhalne Paaye - This song was adapted from the song "It's A Small World" composed by The Sherman Brothers. The Sherman Brothers had composed it as the theme for the Disneyland ride by the same name.[2][3]
