Trivia

    Album

  • As of today, this is Juhi Chawla and Shahrukh Khan's last film together. The last film in which they were paired together in lead roles was "One 2 Ka 4" (2001).[1]
  • This was Vivek Sharma's directorial debut.
  • This film was followed by a sequel - "Bhoothnath Returns" (2014).[2]
  • This film was loosely adapted from Oscar Wildes' novella "The Canterville Ghost" (1887).
  • This was the last film in which B.R. Chopra was credited as a producer. He passed away a few months after the film's release. Chopra started his filmmaking career with the film "Afsana" (1951) and launched his production house B.R. Films with "Ek Hi Rasta" (1956). This was also the B.R. Films banner's last film. His son Ravi Chopra, who co-produced this film, continued his father's film production legacy, but under a different banner, B.R. Studios.[3][4]
