Trivia
- This film was a remake of the Telugu superhit film "Thalla? Pellama?" (1970). The Telugu film was written, produced and directed by N.T. Rama Rao, who also starred in it. It was also remade in Tamil as "Piriya Vidai" (1975).
- Jeetendra had promised his childhood sweetheart Shobha that he would marry her if this film was a hit. True to his word, he got married to her when the film became successful at the box office.
- Filmmaker L.V. Prasad dedicated the film to his guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Many of his subsequent films also paid tribute to the Yogi and his Transcendental Meditation technique.
