- This film appears to be based on the Argentine film, "Nueve Reinas" (2000). "Nueve Reinas" or "Nine Queens" was also the basis of the Hollywood film, "Criminal" (2004).
- The chase sequence in this film featured a taxi that had the same number plate as the taxi featured in Ramesh Sippy's next production, "Taxi No. 9211" (2006).[1][MR12]

- Sabse Bada Rupaiya - In an interview in the Soundbox magazine (July 2011), Chetan Shashital said that the Mehmood sections in this song were re-sung by him, but he was only credited with "Additional vocals" by the producers Trickbaby. Chetan eventually got a duly credited Hindi film song when he sang in K.L. Saigal's voice for "Saigal Blues" ("Delhi Belly", 2011).[2][3]
