Trivia

    Album

  • This was a spiritual successor to "Dilli Ka Thug" (1958). The two films had several cast and crew members in common, including filmmaker S.D. Narang, lead actor Kishore Kumar, music director Ravi, and dialogue writer H.A. Rahi.[1]
  • It appears that the film's theme of mistaken identity was inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock classic "North by Northwest" (1959). In fact, its climax plagiarised the famous "crop duster" sequence in the Hitchcock film, in which an attempt is made to kill Cary Grant's character as crop duster planes chase him from the air as he attempts to evade them on the ground in a large, open space filled with cornfields.

    Song

  • Tera Yun Nazar Chura Ke Jaana Haay Haay (O Bandariya) - This song was originally recorded for the film "Dilli Ka Thug" (1958) but was not used in it.[2]
  • Husn Ki Dekhiye Bahar Aayi - The song was filmed on the "Holiday On Ice" show in the US. The film's opening credits prominently credited the show after listing the lead actors Kishore Kumar and Mala Sinha.
