Trivia

    Album

  • The film's music was released in April 2016. The film itself was originally scheduled to be released in 2016. However, it was indefinitely postponed due to unknown reasons. There were speculations that this was due to differences between producer Pooja Bhatt and the debutant director Kaustav Narayan Niyogi. Pooja Bhatt provided a vague explanation for the delay with a post on Twitter - "Truth is my copyright has been violated on the film & we are fixing that". The film never got a theatrical release. It was directly released on the Zee5 streaming platform in January 2019.[1][2]
  • This was supposed to be the debut Hindi film of Sreesanth, the Indian cricketer. However, he ended up debuting in "Aksar 2" (2017) due to the delay in its release.[3]

    Song

  • Paani Paani - Actor Rahul Roy made a cameo appearance in this song. He was seen covering himself and actress Richa Chadha with a jacket, replicating a famous pose from his debut film "Aashiqui" (1990).[4]
  • Mohe Aayi Naa Jag Se Laaj (Ke Ghunghroo Toot Gaye) - This was a cover version of a song originally recorded by Pankaj Udhas in 1981. Udhas later recorded a version of the song for the film "Ek Hi Maqsad (Aadha Ram Aadha Ravan)" (1988). This song may have also inspired the hook line of the Hindi film song "Ke Ghunghroo Toot Gaye" ("War", 2019).[5][6][7]
  • Bibi Sanam - This song was adapted from an Afghan folk song. The original song had gained mainstream popularity after Pakistani artists Zeb and Haniya had performed it on Coke Studio in 2010.[8]
