Trivia

    Album

  • This was actor Asrani's first film as a writer and director.
  • This film was about the struggles of an aspiring actor, played by writer, director Asrani himself, who eventually finds success in the film industry. It featured many cameos of popular actors and other film personalities playing themselves.

    Song

  • Do Pal Ki Hai Yeh Zindagani - R.D. Burman borrowed the tune of this song's mukhda from the Hindi film song "Chanda Ki Chandni Ka Jadoo" ("Sitaron Se Aage", 1958). The original song was composed by his father, S.D. Burman, written by Majrooh Sultanpuri, and sung by Asha Bhosle. R.D. Burman's arrangement for this song itself may have been inspired by O.P. Nayyar's style of music.[1]
