Trivia

    Album

  • This was the last film produced under the banner of Dreamz Unlimited, a production house started by Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and director Aziz Mirza. Shah Rukh would go on to start his own production company called Red Chillies Entertainment, whose first film was "Main Hoon Na" (2004).[1][2]
  • It was speculated that Aishwarya Rai was dropped from this film when her boyfriend at the time, Salman Khan, created a ruckus on the film's sets. Shah Rukh Khan, the film's star and co-producer, denied this and said that Rani Mukerji had been the original choice for this film but couldn't be brought on board because she was busy. According to him, she was roped in later after she became available. However, he subsequently accepted that he had removed Aishwarya Rai from the film and apologised to her for it. Several years later, Aishwarya Rai claimed that Shah Rukh had had her removed from as many as five films during this period without any explanation.[3][4][5]
