Trivia

    Album

  • This was Dev Anand's last film. It was the culmination of a career that had started more than sixty years ago with "Hum Ek Hain" (1946). He died shortly after the film's release.
  • It was speculated in the media that this film was based on the real-life events surrounding the death of actress Divya Bharti. It was suggested that Divya Dutta was chosen to play the female lead in the film because she had the same first name as the departed actress.[1]
  • This was the debut Hindi film of cricketer Sandeep Patil's son, Chirag Patil.

    Song

  • Mera Ishq Bhi Tu - This was lyricist Neeraj's last Hindi film song. It was notable that he ended his career in a film featuring Dev Anand. Some of his best work was in Dev Anand films like "Duniya" (1968), "Prem Pujari" (1970), "Gambler" (1971), and "Tere Mere Sapne" (1971).[2][3][4][5]
