  • The film was an official remake of the 2014 American comedy-drama of the same title.
  • In a scene set in Goa, Saif Ali Khan's character mentions that he had visited the city 20 years ago with his friends and befriended a foreign girl who had robbed him and fled. This was a reference to a plot element in "Dil Chahta Hai" (2001).[1][2]
