Trivia

    Album

  • This was actor Amjad Khan's first released film as a director and writer. He had directed and written the film "Adhura Aadmi" (1982) earlier but it remained unreleased.[1]
  • The opening credits of this film had listed Nida Fazli and Vithalbhai Patel as lyricists. However, the film's audio records credited only Nida Fazli.
  • The release of this film was delayed by a year when the censor board refused to pass it. It was rumoured that the film was held up by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, who was the chairman of the censor board at the time. This was apparently because Hrishikesh Mukherjee was the editor of this film and there had been a difference of opinion between him and Amjad Khan over the film's editing.[2]
  • Amjad Khan's wife Shehla Khan co-produced this film and his father-in-law Akthar-Ul-Iman wrote its dialogues.
