Trivia

    Album

  • The film was originally scheduled to be released on February 22, 2019. However, it was postponed to May 2019 to avoid a clash with another Ajay Devgn film, "Total Dhamaal" (2019).[1][2][3]
  • The film's title may have been inspired by the title of a song from the film "Sharaabi" (1984).[4]
  • There was a backlash against the film on social media for its casting of Alok Nath. Supporters of the #MeToo movement objected to his casting despite the fact that multiple charges of rape and sexual harassment were made against him in the preceding months. Ajay Devgn clarified that the film had been completed before these allegations surfaced.[5]
  • This was Akiv Ali's directorial debut.

    Song

  • Hauli Hauli - This was a recreated version of Garry Sandhu's hit Punjabi single "Yeh Baby" (2018). The original song was composed, written, and sung by Sandhu.[6]
  • Mukhda Vekh Ke - This was a recreated version of a song from Surjit Bindrakhia's Punjabi non-film album "Mukhda Dekh Ke" (1999). The original song was composed by Atul Sharma, written by Shamsher Sandhu, and sung by Surjit Bindrakhia.[7]
