Trivia

    Album

  • The idea for "Do Badan" (1966) was conceived when Manoj Kumar invited his friend, filmmaker Raj Khosla, to watch a rerun of this film with him. On the way back after the film, Kumar requested Khosla to make a contemporary version of this film with him. Khosla fulfilled his friend's request by making "Do Badan" (1966) with a slightly altered storyline. This film was also remade in Tamil as "Neengadha Ninaivu" (1963).[1][2]

    Song

  • Bachpan Ke Din Bhula Na Dena (Female) - This song may have been an adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore's "Mone Rabe Ki Na Rabe Amare".[3]
  • Hue Hum Jinke Liye Barbaad - This song opened with a couplet written by Muztar Khairabadi - "Aseer-e-panja-e-ahd-e-shabab kar ke mujhe / Kahan gaya mera bachpan kharaab kar ke mujhe".
