    Album

  • This was a remake of Nagraj Manjule's superhit Marathi film "Sairat" (2016).
  • This was the debut film of Janhvi Kapoor, the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. Sridevi passed away when the film was in production. Janhvi took a break from work after her mother's unexpected death and returned a few days later to complete the film. A frame displayed before the film's opening credits carried Sridevi's image and a message from Janhvi - "I love you mom. This is and always was, for you...".[1]
  • The film's shooting in Jaipur was disrupted when some locals filed a police complaint against its crew. They alleged that the film's crew had damaged the ancient Ambikeshwar Mahadev Temple while shooting nearby. The locals also accused the crew of cooking meat in the temple's vicinity. The matter was resolved after the filmmakers monetarily compensated the temple authorities.[2][3]

  • Pehli Baar Hai Ji - Ajay - Atul had used the tune of this song earlier for the Marathi film song "Yaad Laagla" ("Sairat", 2016).[4]
