    Album

  • This was the third film in Yash Raj Films' "Dhoom" action franchise. Not counting cameos and minor roles, the films in the series had two actors in common - Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. Pritam composed the music for all three films.[1][2]
  • The film was promoted as the first Indian film to be released in IMAX format. It was part of a three-film deal signed between Yash Raj Films and IMAX Corp.[3]
  • This was one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time. It was the first film to earn Rs. 100 crores in just three days and the first film to gross Rs. 500 crores worldwide.[4][5]

  • Dhoom Machaale Dhoom - This was the third installment of the Dhoom title song. All three songs had the same hook line but different singers and arrangements. The first Dhoom title song was sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and the second by Vishal Dadlani and Dominique Cerejo.[6][7]
  • Bande Hain Hum Uske - Shankar Mahadevan's son Shivam debuted as a playback singer in this song. He was 12 years old at the time. His brother Siddharth also had a song in the film.
