Trivia

    Album

  • The film opened with the following message after the film's opening credits - "This picture is humbly dedicated to all those who have striven and are striving for the creation of a new and prosperous India".
  • The film was an adaptation of the Marathi novel "Vahininchya Bangadya" written by Y.G. Joshi. The novel was previously adapted for a Marathi film of the same title released in 1953.

    Song

  • Mamaji Ke Rocket Par - While the song was credited to Asha Bhosle and 'chorus', it featured two other unidentified voices filmed on Daisy and Honey Irani.
  • Tum Mujhe Bhool Bhi Jao To - This is the only Hindi film song composed by singer Sudha Malhotra. The film's music director Datta Naik had fallen ill and Sudha Malhotra was called in because the song was needed urgently. She was not listed as a music director in the film's opening credits but was duly credited on the music records.
