Trivia

    Album

  • This film was the Hindi-dubbed version of the Malayalam hit film "Madanolsavam" (1978) and had the same music by Salil Chowdhury. "Madanolsavam" was also dubbed in Tamil as "Paruva Mazhai" (1978) and remade in Telugu as "Amara Prema" (1978) with Kamal Haasan and Zarina Wahab reprising their roles from the Malayalam original. "Madanolsavam" itself was an adaptation of Erich Segal's novel "Love Story" (1970).

    Song

  • Pyar Mein Jo Bhi - Salil Chowdhury also used the tune of this song for the Hindi film song "Jaane Raaz Ye Kya Hai" ("Kuhaasa", 1978).[1]
  • Aye Mere Dil Ga - Salil Chowdhury used the tune of this song again in another Hindi film song, "Jhir Jhir Barse Aaj Gagan Se" ("Mera Damad", 1995).[2]
