- This was Rita Bhaduri's first Hindi film in a lead role. She had debuted earlier in the film "Aaina" (1974).[1]
- Music director Vijay Singh debuted as a producer and director in this film. Vijay Singh was Vijay Singhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan, the king of the erstwhile princely state of Sangli. His daughters Bhaghyashree - famous for the superhit "Maine Pyar Kiya" (1989), Madhuvanti, and Purnima Patwardhan went on to act in films. Vijay Singh composed music for several films and also produced and directed two - this film and "Kabhie Ajnabi The" (1985).[2][3]
