Trivia

    Album

  • This was Salim Khan's writing debut. He had started his career in Hindi films earlier as an actor. Khan, who was credited as Prince Salim in this film, went on to collaborate with Javed Akhtar and build a successful career as a writer. The duo got their first screenwriting credit for the film "Haathi Mere Saathi" (1971).[1][MR34]
  • The film was remade in Tamil as "Justice Viswanathan" (1971) and in Telugu as "Nenu Manishine" (1971). Salim - Javed rehashed this story later for the Kannada film "Premada Kanike" (1976), which was remade in Tamil as "Polladhavan" (1980) and in Hindi as "Raaz" (1981).[2]
