Trivia

    Album

  • When this big budget film failed miserably at the box office, Goldie Behl decided to never direct a film again. As of today, this remains the last film directed by him.
  • This was Dhruv Ghanekar's first film as a solo music director. He had earlier partnered with Ashutosh Pathak to compose music for films.
  • This was the first Rose Movies film in 17 years. The banner had practically shut down when its founder, Ramesh Behl, had passed away in 1990, when its last film, "Indrajeet" (1991) was still in production. His family had had to pitch in at the time to take the film to completion.[1]
  • The friendship of Abhishek Bachchan and director Goldie Behl began during the shooting of the film "Pukar" (1983) when they were about 7 years old. Their fathers, Amitabh Bachchan and producer, director Ramesh Behl, had banned them from the sets of the film after they had broken a prop. They had vowed then that they would make a film together and ban their parents from its set! As it turned out, the two friends did work together in two films - this film and "Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai" (2001).[2][3][4]
