  • This film was a remake of director K. Bhagyaraj's hit Tamil film "Mouna Geethangal" (1981). The Tamil film was also remade in Telugu as "Sathyabhama" (1981), in Malayalam as "Chanchattam" (1991) and in Kannada as "Mane Devru" (1993).
  • This was one of the four films directed by T. Rama Rao and starring Jeetendra and Rekha that explored married relationships. The other films in this series were "Judaai" (1980), "Maang Bharo Sajana" (1980) and "Sadaa Suhagan" (1986).[1][2][3]

  • Hey Raju Oh Daddy - The child singer Rajeshwari credited in this song is the daughter of music director Laxmikant Kudalkar of the Laxmikant - Pyarelal duo. This was the first time she sang for Hindi films.
