Trivia

    Album

  • This film was adapted from the English play "A Bold Stroke for a Wife" (1718). The Hindi film "Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge" (2000) also had a similar plot.[1]
  • This was Bhappi Sonie's directorial debut.

    Song

  • Bombshell Baby Of Bombay (O Beautiful Baby Of Broadway) - Shailendra's original lyrics for this song were "Bombshell Baby Of Bombay" and this was the version that appeared on records. However, when the Censor Board objected, the words in the film were changed to "Beautiful Baby Of Bombay".[2][3]
  • Bombshell Baby Of Bombay (O Beautiful Baby Of Broadway) - The singer of this song, Iqbal Singh, also did an Elvis Presley-inspired performance of the song in the film. Iqbal Singh was a Navy man. After this film, when the navy asked him to choose between the Navy and films, Iqbal Singh chose the former. This remained his only Hindi film song.[4]
  • Bombshell Baby Of Bombay (O Beautiful Baby Of Broadway) - A clip from this song appeared in the background on a screen in the Hindi film song "Naach Meri Jaan Ho Ke Magan Tu" ("Tubelight", 2017).[5]
