Sudesh Bhosle was brought in to dub for some of Amitabh Bachchan's dialogues in the film since Amitabh was ill at the time.
The National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication had sent Amitabh Bachchan a legal notice, because a poster of this film showing Amitabh Bachchan smoking a cigar had violated the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003. Amitabh had sent the organisation a letter of apology.[1]
