Trivia

    Album

  • This was the first film in which Rajesh Khanna and Tina Munim worked together. In the next few years, they were rumoured to be in a romantic relationship. Tina Munim eventually left Rajesh Khanna because he allegedly reneged on his promise to divorce his wife Dimple Kapadia and marry her. She would go on to marry the industrialist Anil Ambani in 1991.[1]
  • This was the directorial debut of writer and producer Shomu Mukerji. He was actress Tanuja's husband and Kajol's father.

    Song

  • Pyar Ka Vada Fifty Fifty - The tune of this song's mukhda may have been inspired by Brian Hyland's hit track "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" (1960).[2]
