• The film was completed in 2014 and certified in 2016 but its release was delayed by many years. When it was finally released in 2019, director Sourabh Shrivastava disassociated himself from it. He claimed that he had been sidelined from the project following some creative differences with the producer. According to him, the film was completed by Prakash Jha under whose banner the film was made. The film was delayed further due to a dispute between the producers and their financiers. Shrivastava stated that the final product was very different from what he had envisioned and asked the producers to remove his credit from the film.[1][2]

Song

• Chhamma Chhamma - This was a recreated version of a song from the film "China Gate" (1998). The original song was composed by Anu Malik, written by Sameer, and sung by Sapna Awasthi and Anu Malik.[3]
