Trivia

    Album

  • This film was an unexpected hit despite having relatively unknown actors in lead roles. It was re-released in PVR Delhi on popular demand. Encouraged by its success, the filmmakers released a sequel with more or less the same cast and crew in 2017. However, the sequel failed at the box office.[1][2]
  • Actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha met on the sets of this film. Richa had found Fazal to be odd initially but got romantically involved with him eventually. The couple planned to get married in 2020 but the COVID pandemic and the ensuing lockdown forced them to postpone their plans.[3]
  • This was actor Varun Sharma's debut Hindi film.

    Song

  • Rabba Aur Saha Naa Jaye Kuchh To Bol - A musical interlude in this song was adapted from Mozart's musical piece "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" (English: "A Little Night Music").
  • Ambarsariya - This hit song was an adaptation of a Punjabi folk song.
