  • This was the last of the three films directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and featuring Sunny Deol, Meenakshi Sheshadri and Amrish Puri. The other two films were "Ghayal" (1990) and "Damini" (1993).[1][2]
  • This was actress Meenakshi Seshadri's last released Hindi film.
  • Producer, director Raj Kumar Santoshi had announced Kamal Haasan as the hero of this film. However, Santoshi later replaced him with Sunny Deol, with whom he had made his superhit film "Ghayal" (1990).[3]
