Trivia

    Album

  • This was Meena Kumari's last released film. It was released after her death and was dedicated to her memory. Work on this film had started in the late 1960s, but it was delayed due to Meena Kumar's health issues. This was one of Meena Kumari's last pending projects in 1971, and sensing her end, she took extra efforts to complete the film.
  • This was Saawan Kumar's first film as a director. He had written and produced the film "Naunihal" (1967) earlier.[1]
  • There were no opening or closing credits in this film.

    Song

  • Aao Aao Jaan-E-Jahan - Some portions of this song were inspired by Quincy Jones's "Main Title" theme for the Hollywood Western "Mackenna's Gold" (1969).
