Trivia
- This was the only film in which actress Reena Roy was a producer. She was credited in the film as Reena Khan. The film featured her husband at the time, Mohsin Khan.
- The banner of the film, Barkha Movies, had released two films prior to this - "Sanam Teri Kasam" (1982) and "Karishmaa" (1984). Both these films were produced by Reena Roy's sister, Barkhaa Roy, and featured Kamal Haasan and Reena Roy in lead roles. This was the only Barkha Movies film that did not feature either one of them. This was the last film produced by the banner.[1][2]
