Trivia

    Album

  • This was the directorial debut of ad filmmaker Vinil Mathew.
  • Music directors Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy had initially signed up for this film and even composed a song for it. However, they were subsequently replaced by Vishal - Shekhar. It was rumoured that Karan Johar had asked Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy to leave the project since he was not happy with the quality of their work. However, according to Ehsaan, while Johar did ask them to "let this one pass", it was because they had scheduling issues after the film's timeline was shifted to accommodate Parineeti Chopra's schedule. The song Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy had composed for the film remained unused.[1]
  • The film's background score featured a short, Gujarati rap song "Bhegu Se" written and performed by Khamosh Shah. This song was not part of the music release.
  • The film's producers Karan Johar and Vikas Bahl made cameo appearances in the film. Vikas Bahl's wife at the time Rich Bahl also made a brief appearance in the film.

    Song

  • Manchala - The film version of this song had Divya Kumar's voice in addition to the singers in the audio release.
  • Drama Queen - Actor Bobby Darling made an uncredited cameo appearance in the film for this song.
  • Ishq Bulaava - The version of the song in the film was different from the version in the audio release. The female voice was Chinmayi's in the film and Shipra Goyal's in the audio release. This was Goyal's first Hindi film song.
