Trivia

    Album

  • This was the second film of the "Hate Story" franchise of erotic thrillers. While the first film was produced by BVG Films, a unit of Vikram Bhatt's ASA Productions & Enterprises, the next three films were produced by T-Series. In 2012, T-Series signed a five-film deal with ASA to diversify their business and expand their footprint in film production. The sequels appear to be a result of this deal. Vikram Bhatt resigned from ASA Productions in 2013 and filed a police complaint against its promoters in 2015. He alleged that the promoters took money from T-Series and Reliance Entertainment to produce films and embezzled the funds. Bhatt claimed that he had to use his own funds to make the films that were part of the deal.[1][2][3][4][5]
  • This was the debut Hindi film of the television actor Jay Bhanushali.
  • The film made news when Kapil Sharma refused to promote it on his TV show "Comedy Nights With Kapil". It was reported that the comedian felt that it was not appropriate to promote a film of such explicit content on his family-friendly show.[6]

    Song

  • Aaj Phir Tum Pe Pyar Aaya Hai - This was Arko's recreation of a song composed by Laxmikant - Pyarelal for the film "Dayavan" (1988). The original song was sung by Pankaj Udhas and Anuradha Paudwal, and written by Aziz Qaisi. While the song's mukhda reused the original song's tune and lyrics, the antaras were original. This was Samir Koppikar's debut Hindi film song as a playback singer.[7]
  • Aaj Phir Tum Pe Pyar Aaya Hai - The Censor Board told the makers of the film that the erotic content of the song would have to be toned down for it to be shown on television.[8]
  • Pink Lips - Sunny Leone made a cameo appearance in the film for this song.
  • Pink Lips - The makers of this film made a brand placement deal with the music streaming service Saavn for this song. Saavn's app was prominently displayed in the song sequence.
