• This was the fictionalised account of a real-life story. The film was inspired by the claim made by Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, an instructor at the Sir JJ School of Art, who claimed to have built and flown the world's first unmanned aircraft. It was claimed that the aircraft was flown in Mumbai in 1895. In reality, there is no evidence supporting the claim.[1]
• The film was initially titled "Bambai Fairytale".[2]

• Hawaizaada Dil - Composer Rochak Kohli debuted as a singer in this song.
• Dil-E-Naadan - The film's end credits listed Ayushmann Khurana and K. Mohan as the song's composers. However, the film's audio release credited only Ayushmann Khurana as its composer.
• Dil-E-Naadan - It was reported that the song was composed and recorded overnight while on location in Gujarat for the film's shooting.[3]
