Trivia

    Album

  • This was the first film Saawan Kumar produced and directed that had music composed by Usha Khanna. They were married for a brief period around this time. Their association had started earlier with the film "Sabak" (1973) for which Saawan Kumar had written the lyrics. The two worked together in many films over the years till Usha Khanna's last Hindi film "Dil Pardesi Ho Gayaa" (2003).[1][2]
  • This was probably the only film for which the popular radio announcer Ameen Sayani wrote dialogues.

    Song

  • Aao Yaaro Gao Aao Yaaro Naacho - Rekha made a cameo appearance in the film for this song. Saawan Kumar had initially planned to film the song on actress Faryal. However, Rekha, who had heard the song when Kumar was recording it, liked it so much that she asked the filmmaker to feature her in it. Kumar tried to convince her against it, but the actress showed up at the film's set on the day of shooting in this song, along with a costume she had designed herself. Kumar gave in and filmed the song on Rekha and later explained to Faryal what had transpired.[3]
