Trivia

    Album

  • In 1991-1992, three Hindi films, including this one, were based on the Punjabi folklore of the love between Heer and Ranjha. The other two films were "Ishq Khuda Hai" (1991) and "Mehboob Mere Mehboob" (1992).[1][2]

    Song

  • Rab Ne Banaya Tujhe - This song was originally recorded for another film of the same title announced by filmmaker Ram Maheshwary in the 1980s. The film, that was supposed to star Sunny Deol and Poonam Dhillon, was shelved and Laxmikant - Pyarelal decided to use the song in this film instead.[3]
